However, it took a while before she tried her hand as a solo artist.

Her enthusiasm for the stage began to grow with individual solo performances at choir concerts  during high school.

From 2009 to 2016, she was the lead singer of the pop-rock band "Elle Driver" from Langenthal, with whom she regularly gained stage experience, mainly at local events. In 2012, they recorded an EP at 2inchRecords Studio and subsequently came 2nd in the band contest "Emergenza" at Bierhübeli Bern.

By a funny coincidence, Daria met the passionate musician and later mentor, Tom Küffer, who repeatedly invited her to perform with his backup band "Tom Küffer and Friends". This gave her the opportunity to share her passion for country and bluegrass music with professional musicians and to perform on stage with personalities such as Schöre Müller, Steve Grant, Marc Gerber, Daniel Thürler, Alfred Mosimann, Tanja von Erlach, Fred Heiniger and others.

Since 2018, she is a backing singer and percussionist in the Swiss Tom Petty tribute band "Echo", which is also quite successful in Germany.

As Daria is very open to a wide variety of music, her music is also influenced by different styles. Her idols mainly come from the Anglo-American music tradition and she is fond of bands like Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, The Sisterhood Band, Fleetwood Mac, Ida Mae, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, My Baby, The Bros Landreth, Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Chris Stapleton, Wild Rivers, Haim, but also solo artists like Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Lainey Wilson, Brandi Carlile, Samantha Fish, Dan Layus, Theo Katzman, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Jessie J and many more.

There is a song for every moment of a human’s life. Daria herself is so grateful for all the songs that have made so many situations more intense or more understandable and also bearable for her. And sometimes words are not enough: We have a lot on our minds. Sometimes you have to express it in the form of music.

She still sees herself primarily as a singer who writes her songs on the guitar. She uses a simple technique to accompany her stories, in the spirit of Harlan Howard's description of country music: "Three chords and the truth."
